Nice old train depot did not appear you could go inside. Old engine to see outside and very good views. Some trails and historical panels. Worth a stop if you are visiting plus its free. Full review by DillonM1905

To clarify, the grounds are always open and there's plenty of free parking. The depot building itself is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays, again at no charge. The city only charges if you wish to rent the building for a special event.

There is no charge. My mother in law told me that every tour of Boise should start here because it is so impressive. Make sure you take the elevator up. There used to be a guy that would come and feed the koi at the same time everyday and you could see the fish swimming in the same pattern about an hour before he would arrive. Nice places for a picnic.
