I gave this place a 3* because about 1/2 of the exhibits were closed to construction/remodeling. Once the work is complete it would probably be more like a 4.5-5*. The kids will enjoy all the get up … Full review by Cpjules

Birch Aquarium is sooo cool! My personal favorite is the fact that penguins poop 145 times a day. Highly recommend for people of all ages, so many facts too! Full review by Ethan T

I have 13yr old and 11 year old daughters . From reviews and aquarium website it seems the aquarium is on the small side but well maintained. I’m trying to gauge whether the exhibits are engaging/interactive enough for middle schoolers. Is this aquarium geared for younger children?

The hands on can be fun for all ages... The exhibits are pretty cool but I think your age group would get bored pretty quickly..
the website only goes out a few months and I'm trying to plan ahead for August of next year can anyone tell me what the typical hours are in the first part of August?
