Around 1.5 hour drive from Beirut the Hippodrome site has enough structures remaining to really see the size and structure of the original hippodrome- apparently one of the largest in the Roman Empir… Full review by VinnieLondon_SE2

As all other Roman ruins around Middle East, this is worth visiting and have a walk around. Not crowded place at all. Hardly any people so really relaxing to wander around the hippodrome and the tomb… Full review by 228aleksandrab

Not to be missed for its grandiosity and stature. A perfect example of the fame of Tyre and the richness of its history. And hopefully will attend a festival here. Full review by Loulwa_Kaloyeros
