NASHVILLE, Tenn. ( WAFF) - The Vanderbilt Commodores are up a win and down a field goal after a sea of Vandy faithful paraded down Broadway, Saturday night after stunning formerly No. 1 ranked Alabama, 40-35 at Vanderbilt Stadium.

Alabama safety Malachi Moore had a meltdown that Nick Saban would’ve never tolerated. The Crimson Tide defensive back was visibly frustrated during the team’s road blunder in Vanderbilt, where the nation’s No. 1 team fell to the Commodores, 40-35.

Coming off of a massive and emotional win against the No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs, everyone feared that a road trip to Vanderbilt might prove to be a trap game for the Alabama Crimson Tide. But, I don’t think anyone thought that Alabama would actually lose that game. After all, they only scored three points against Saban in three career games.
