Aryna Sabalenka has won the Brisbane International, rallying from a set down against qualifier Polina Kudermetova to sharpen her tilt for a third-straight Australian Open title.

Aryna Sabalenka has shown again that she is a force to be reckoned with as she took down Polina Kudermetova to seal the Brisbane International title. One that passed her by twelve months ago when she was defeated by Elena Rybakina.

No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka overcame a spirited challenge from 15th-seeded Yulia Putintseva to record a 7-6 (2), 6-4 win in a Round of 16 match on Thursday at the Brisbane International in Australia.

Aryna Sabalenka powered into the Brisbane International final with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over teenager Mirra Andreeva. American Reilly Opelka (men's Brisbane) and Naomi Osaka (Auckland) also advanced to their respective finals.
