Search for missing hiker Austin King in Yellowstone reaches critical day 7
The search and rescue operation for Austin King, a missing employee of Xanterra Parks and Resorts, has now entered its seventh day. King was reported overdue to the Yellowstone Interagency Communications Center after failing to arrive for his scheduled boat pickup near Yellowstone Lake’s Southeast Arm on the afternoon of September 20.
Search continues for missing Winona hiker
King went on a solo hike in a remote corner of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. His father, Brian King-Henke, says the last time anyone heard from him was when he called his mother from the top of Eagle Peak on September 17th. The search effort kicked off three days later when King didn’t arrive for a pick up.
