Pete Rose, baseball’s all-time hits leader, dies at 83
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Pete Rose, MLB’S all-time hits leader who was banned from baseball for gambling on the game, has died at 83. Rose won an MVP award and earned 17 All-Star selections during his 24-year MLB career from 1963-1986. He played 19 seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, five with the Philadelphia Phillies and one with the Montreal Expos.
