A bus accident in Bhimtal led to 4 deaths and 23 injuries. The state government has announced ₹10 lakh ex-gratia for families of deceased, and ₹3 lakh for those seriously injured

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has expressed grief over the bus accident in Bhimtal. He said the local administration is carrying out immediate relief and rescue efforts.

Following the accident, rescue operations by police, locals, and NDRF-SDRF teams began. The injured were hospitalized in Haldwani.

A tragedy struck near Bhimtal, Uttarakhand, on Wednesday when a bus traveling from Almora to Haldwani plunged 1,500 feet into a gorge. The accident claimed four lives and left more than 24 others injured, some of whom are in critical condition, according to a report by India Today.

Uttarakhand CM PS Dhami expressed condolences for the four lives lost in a bus accident near Bhimtal. The injured are receiving treatment at Sushila Tiwari Government Hospital, Haldwani, with additional medical support from AIIMS Rishikesh.
