Black Monday has arrived in the NFL. While 14 teams are preparing for the playoffs, the other 18 are beginning their offseason. For some of those teams, that means starting over. The Monday following the NFL regular season traditionally brings firings of both head coaches and general managers,

Allen was the latest victim of the Carolina Reaper. This affectionate nickname has been given to Panthers quarterback Bryce Young. He hasn't had much success early in his professional career, but Young leading improbable wins led to several coaches losing their jobs with Allen being the most recent.

Black Monday is a brutal one for the 18 NFL coaches that failed to make the playoffs. That's the day they're most likely to get called into an uncomfortable meeting with franchise ownership, then asked to pack up their offices.
