"We know threats against poll workers and election (administrators) have increased dramatically since 2020," law professor Quinn Yeargain said.

Nonpartisan organization DJ at the Polls worked to bring DJs to more than 8,500 polling sites across the country, according to its website. The goal is to encourage people to vote and to entertain them while doing so, especially in densely populated urban areas, according to its website.

Millions of Americans are heading to the polls on Election Day and with the election possibly being one of the closest in history, voters have until 8 p.m. to make their voices heard.
