Gwyneth Paltrow sold her longtime Brentwood, California, house for $22 million, after dropping the price several times. Gwyneth originally purchased the single-story 8,000-square-foot home in 2012 with ex-husband Chris Martin.

The sale was due to Paltrow's desire to downsize, her realtor told the Wall Street Journal, now that her (and singer Chris Martin's) children, Apple and Moses, are growing up and attending college at Vanderbilt and Brown, respectively.

Gwyneth Paltrow is officially moving house. The actress, 52, recently sold her Los Angeles mansion for $22 million, The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday,7. The home was initially put on the market for $29.

The 1950s single-story house was unharmed by the recent wildfires.

After seven months on the market, the Oscar-winning actress and lifestyle guru has sold her Windsor Smith-designed home in the Mandeville Canyon area of Brentwood for $22 million.
