Traders pulled $333 million from BlackRock's spot bitcoin ETF on Thursday, marking the fund's longest losing streak as the crypto rally pauses.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust experienced a new record of $332.6 million for single-day outflows on Thursday. That brought IBIT outflows to nearly $393 million for the week. Other bitcoin ETFs saw minor inflows, and the Ethereum ETFs saw $77.5 in net outflows.

BlackRock’s Nasdaq-listed IBIT reported its highest-ever outflows on Thursday, with $332 million leaving the largest public fund tracking bitcoin.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) investors closely watched a dramatic shift in the market on Thursday, as the world’s largest bitcoin-backed exchange-traded fund saw its biggest ever daily outflows, with more than $300M flowing out of the fund in a single day.

Investors just ripped $333 million out of BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) in a single day. It’s the largest withdrawal the fund has seen since its blockbuster launch earlier this year.

IBIT also secured third place on Bloomberg’s 2024 top 20 ETF leaderboard after it netted $37 billion in year-to-date flows, only behind Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) and iShares CORE S&P 500 ETF (IVV).
