The man charged with murder and arson in the killing of a woman inside a subway car in New York City is set to appear in court on Friday morning, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office.

New York City police say they have taken into custody a person of interest in the death of a woman who may have fallen asleep on a stationary subway train before being lit on fire by a man she didn’t know.
