NewsNation is shaking up its primetime lineup in the wake of Dan Abrams' departure. Beginning Monday, Feb. 10, Leland Vittert's "On Balance" will air in the 9 p.m. ET hour, while "Elizabeth Vargas Reports" moves to 7 p.

NewsNation is moving Leland Vittert’s nighttime show to the key 9 p.m. ET slot, following Dan Abrams’ decision to end his show. In other changes, Elizabeth Vargas Reports will move to the 7 p.m. ET slot,

Vittert’s slot is currently occupied by veteran journalist and television host Abrams, who joined NewsNation in 2021 to host the nightly prime-time show Dan Abrams Live. In December 2024, Abrams, who previously worked for NBC News and MSNBC, announced he would be ending his show in February 2025, though he’ll remain with the network.
