Police are investigating a burglary minutes from Prince William and Princess Kate's house and within the Windsor Castle estate. A pick-up truck and a quad bike were taken in the night time raid through the closest exit to William and Kate's Adelaide Cottage.

A former Scotland Yard detective has claimed that Prince William and Princess Katherine must be feeling "very concerned" about the breach in security at their home that saw masked raiders attempt to break in to Windsor Castle.

Windsor Castle has been raided by two masked men, whilst Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children slept in the estate's Adelaide Cottage.

Burglars broke into the grounds of Britain's royal Windsor Castle in October and stole two vehicles from a barn, Thames Valley Police said.

Two men reportedly climbed a six foot fence during the night to steal farm vehicles. The crooks are said to have then driven off in a pick-up truck and on a quad bike that had been stored in a barn.
