NATO members have provided diplomatic and military aid support to Ukraine throughout the ongoing war after Russia invaded the nation in February 2022.

As Russia made progress in revising its nuclear policy amid its war with Ukraine, North Korea vowed to never give up its own nuclear weapons despite demands from the West.

President Vladimir Putin warned the West on Wednesday that Russia could use nuclear weapons if it was struck with conventional missiles, and that Moscow would consider any assault on it supported by a nuclear power to be a joint attack.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, amendments to the nuclear doctrine have been prepared and will be legally formalized soon in Russia. He stated that the evolving situation in Ukraine necessitated a change in the doctrine.
