Tyler Toffoli and Mario Ferraro scored and the San Jose Sharks snapped an eight-game winless streak by beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-1.

Warsofsky got the response he was looking for Thursday as goalie Yaroslav Askarov finished with 24 saves to help the Sharks beat the Lightning 2-1 before an announced crowd of 11,103 at SAP Center, snapping an eight-game losing streak.

Sharks star forward Mikael Granlund played a role in the Lightning's loss, as he recorded the primary assist on Mario Ferraro's goal that gave San Jose a 2-0 lead. With the Lightning needing more offense, Granlund is a player they should consider targeting.
