Vince Marrow is reportedly staying at Kentucky instead of heading to the ACC to join the newly assembled staff at North Carolina.

Washington Huskies defensive coordinator Steve Belichick is set to join his father, North Carolina Tar Heels coach Bill Belichick, in Chapel Hill. The move was confirmed on Sunday by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247 Sports. The younger Belichick will join North Carolina’s staff after Washington’s bowl game against Louisville on Christmas Eve.

Belichick also landed one top-100 ranked player in the portal from elsewhere: linebacker Khmori House, who started five games for Washington last season as a true freshman. He had 35 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and four pass breakups.

The Kentucky Wildcats will keep Vince Marrow in Lexington for at least one more season. According to John Brice of Football Scoop, Marrow has decided to remain with Kentucky. He was recently offered a spot on Bill Belichick’s first staff as head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
