The New Orleans Saints are still holding out hope that Derek Carr can return for a Week 17 game against the Las Vegas Raiders; Alvin Kamara likeliest to return in Week 18.

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — Alvin Kamara’s groin injury is “a little bit more significant” than the Saints initially thought, but it remains unclear how many of New Orleans’ final three games he’ll miss, coach Darren Rizzi said Thursday.

Back on December 8th when Derek Carr broke his left hand in a game against the New York Giants, most thought his season was likely over. Which would have meant he wouldn't get the opportunity to face his former Raiders team when they come to New Orleans in Week 17.
