As per Sims Community, EA Games is planning to release remasters of the 2000 and 2004 games for PC as early as January 31 at 8am PT / 4pm GMT / 3am AEDT, after a leak revealed promotional renders, official features and supported platforms.

The Sims 1 and 2 re-releases are expected to launch on Friday, January 31 at 10:00am CST. The games are only expected to release on PC. EA has yet to make the official announcement, but it has teased that the re-releases are real.

This February, one of EA's most beloved PC franchises, The Sims, turns 25. To celebrate, EA is traveling back to the early 2000s, when the original The Sims and The Sims 2 were introduced. The publisher posted a teaser for what appears to be a revival of both games on Monday,
