Chicago Bears coach Matt Eberflus is standing by his decision to let the clock wind down rather than run another play prior to a last-second field goal attempt against Green Bay.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Eberflus and the Bears will turn in the game-losing play to the league office because Green Bay's defenders "were on our long snapper". According to league rules, the center must remain uncovered on a field goal attempt, and a defensive player cannot jump on an opponent in an effort to block a kick.

In the aftermath of the loss, Bears coach Matt Eberflus defended his decision to kick the 46-yard attempt rather than run an additional play. But come Monday, Eberflus turned his attention to another aspect of that blocked field goal: He thinks the refs missed a penalty.
