Dubai’s Emirates airline has banned pagers and walkie-talkies from its planes, following last month’s attacks on such devices carried by the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.

Emirates Airline customers will no longer be allowed to travel with pager or walkie-talkie devices according to a company statement released Friday. The new policy comes after the militant group Hezbollah said their pagers and walkie-talkies were laced with explosives that killed dozens and wounded thousands including children in September.

Dubai-based airline Emirates has banned pagers and walkie-talkies onboard its planes following sabotage attacks in Lebanon and extended flight cancellations for Middle East destinations due to regional escalation.
