Who’s on the 2025 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot and how elections work
The BBWAA announced the 2025 ballot Monday, headlined by first-time candidates Ichiro Suzuki and CC Sabathia alongside 12 other first-time hopefuls. Tenth-year Billy Wagner, who received 73.8 percent of votes in 2024, will hope 2025 is his year, as will 13 other holdovers.

Ballots are due to be postmarked by Dec. 31 and will be counted by BBWAA secretary-treasurer Jack O’Connell and Ernst & Young partner Mark Moran. Results will be announced by Hall of Fame president Josh Rawitch at 6 p.m. on Jan. 21, 2025, live on MLB Network.
