Grand Theft Auto V was one of the top ten most played games on Valve’s Steam Deck handheld this past week. It’s been in the top twenty for at least two years. But as of today, Valve now lists the game as “unsupported” — because developer Rockstar mysteriously broke compatibility with Valve’s handheld for its online modes.

Valve’s Steam Deck, one of the best PC handhelds, has a massive library of the best PC games that it can tap into due to the sheer number of titles on the Steam storefront. But now, those with Amazon Prime subscriptions can get their hands on even more.

According to Valve, though, Rockstar could solve this minor technical issue with a single email.

PS5 games can be played on Steam Deck via the Chiaki app, offering the same handheld convenience you get with Sony's official PlayStation Portal. Set up Remote Play on the PS5 by enabling the feature with a toggle, then install Chiaki on your Steam Deck and link your console using a code generated by a simple script.
