The city of Starkville is moving forward with an exciting renovation project aimed at making Mckee Park more community-friendly.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — A former Starkville High School coach pleaded guilty to inappropriately touching a female student. Randy Carlisle pleaded guilty on Monday, Jan. 27, District Attorney Scott Colom announced.

A former Starkville High School teacher avoided jail time by pleading guilty Monday to molesting a student nearly three years ago. Randy M. Carlisle, 50, of Hickory Grave Road, Starkville, was scheduled to go to trial this week on the felony charge of touching a minor for lustful purposes.
