Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man will not be arrested for allegedly assaulting a family friend at a Staten Island gym, law enforcement sources said Friday.

The alleged assault was the result of a relationship the alleged 28-year-old victim had with the rapper’s daughter.

According to the complaint, the 53-year-old Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Clifford Smith, got into an argument with the accuser at a Crunch Fitness location on Staten Island.

Method Man, one-part of Staten Island's most famous rap group, denied allegations of a gym brawl in the borough.

On January 16, the New York Post published a piece alleging Method Man was arrested in Staten Island after assaulting his daughter, real name Cheyenne Smith’s supposed ex-boyfriend Patrick Sokoya at a Crunch Fitness gym.
