For many NHL players, the opportunity to play in an outdoor hockey game is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And just seven members of this season’s Lightning team were among the group that played a Stadium Series game in Nashville three seasons ago.

The Boston Bruins are no strangers to outdoor games, and they'll take part in another one during the 2025-26 NHL season. The league announced Wednesday that the Tampa Bay Lightning will host the Bruins at Raymond James Stadium as part of the 2026 Stadium Series on Feb.

This will be the Bruins' sixth outdoor contest but their first Stadium Series game. The Bruins have certainly had success in outdoor games, as they have a 4-1-0 record during them. Only the New York Rangers have more wins, as they sport a 5-0-0 record when playing in the outdoors.

The Boston Bruins haven't been left out of outdoor games next season. The NHL and Gary Bettman have announced that the Boston Bruins will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning at Raymond James Stadium for the 2026 Stadium Series.
