The final stretch of 2024 is pure Akira Toriyama with the premiere of ‘ Dragon Ball Daima’ and the outstanding release of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero. The new anime is a success, and its second chapter showed the beginning and end of the series, in which there is a hidden tribute to Toriyama that has not gone unnoticed by fans of his work.

But then, in the final moments of the episode, Gomah, Degesu and an ancient Namekian named Neva leave the Demon Realm and invade Earth to steal the planet’s Dragon Balls and wish for all of the warriors to be turned into children, kicking off a new adventure that is similar to what happened to Goku in Dragon Ball GT.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode 5 will stream on Crunchyroll on November 8, 2024. Fans can expect weekly releases for each new episode. The dubbed version will premiere in US theaters in mid-November.
