Kamala Harris has a lot of options for her next act, but writing a book may be first up, according to six people familiar with internal discussions about her future.

Kamala Harris is reportedly planning to write a tell-all book about her presidential run and defeat to Donald Trump.

The Brentwood house she shares with Doug Emhoff is in an evacuation zone, but the vice president has been in Washington.

The last vice president not to invite an incoming official to the residence was Trump’s first running mate, Mike Pence. Trump, meanwhile, was the first outgoing president in 150 years not to attend his successor’s inauguration in 2021. Trump also reportedly didn’t give the incoming administration briefings at the time during the transition.
