Kansas law reads: “No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sign, poster or other nontransparent material upon the front windshield, side wings or side or rear windows of such vehicle which substantially obstructs, obscures or impairs the driver’s clear view of the highway or any intersecting highway.”

The Kansas City metro is still digging itself out from a nearly-record 11 inches of snow that got dumped by a blizzard over the weekend. Roads remain icy and treacherous, however, and much of the city remains shut down.

The heaviest snowfall totals included 13 inches near the Village of Oakview in Clay County and Bonner Springs in Wyandotte County. A foot of snow was reported in Basehor in Wyandotte County and Olathe in Johnson County.
