No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Monday evening’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing to $303 million. One ticket was sold matching five numbers but not the Powerball in Virginia and is worth $1 million.

“I did it!” Brian Morgan excitedly told her. Morgan matched all five numbers in the Nov. 27 drawing to win a total of $1,610,754 from a Cash 5 with EZ Match game, the Virginia Lottery said in a Jan. 6 news release. “I’ve looked at it about 50 times!” the happy winner told lottery officials when claiming his prize.

The New Jersey Lottery announced Monday that the winning ticket was sold at the ShopRite supermarket on Beaverbrook Road in Lincoln Park (Morris County).
