Warner was listed as “day to day” with an ankle injury after missing the second half of Sunday’s 30-13 win over the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium. It was Warner’s 45-yard interception return for a touchdown that put the 49ers’ up 13-0 after settling for short field goals on their first two drives.

That day-to-day designation was given to the other five players hurt as well. Wide receiver Jacob Cowing has a shoulder issue, defensive tackle Jordan Elliott is working through a knee injury, tight end George Kittle is dealing with a rib injury, WR Chris Conley has an oblique injury, and fullback Kyle Juszczyk has a shoulder injury.

San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday that star linebacker Fred Warner is day to day this week after missing the second half of Sunday's victory over the New England Patriots, adding that the week will give him "a chance to heal up.
