Producer Amy Pascal said as recently as 2018 that she’s still up for a Sinister Six movie, with Goddard’s involvement. But given Sony’s SSU fortunes, and the fact that Spider-Man: No Way Home already kind of did the thing, it’s probably not happening.

It looks like Sony 's Spider-Man Universe could have featured Marvel’s live-action Spidey characters such as Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, but the studio felt that audiences ultimately didn't want that.

Kraven The Hunter marks the end of the Sony Spider-Man universe (SSU). In this feature let's take a look and see how it stacks up to Sony's previous villain-centric releases. The SSU kicked off in 2018 with Venom.

As expected, Kraven the Hunter has bombed at the box office with its opening weekend seeing a mere $11 million haul from 3,211 theatres. Its global box office collection stands at $43 million till date — which is unimpressive to say the least.
