The Vermont State Police are investigating the death of an inmate Thursday morning at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.

The body of a fallen U.S. Border Patrol agent has been moved to a Vermont funeral home three days after he was killed during a traffic stop near the Canadian border.

Law officers held a procession Thursday in Vermont in honor of a U.S. Border Patrol agent who was fatally shot during a traffic stop this week.
