The NBA is admitting this week to making a big mistake on the game-winning play by the Milwaukee Bucks against the Houston Rockets on Sunday.

Had the out-of-bounds call been made correctly, the Rockets would have been able to inbound the ball themselves with approximately 20 seconds left while holding a one-point lead. The shot clock would have been off, thereby prompting Milwaukee to either try and force a turnover or (more likely) foul and send Houston to the free-throw line.

A gaffe by Giannis Antetokounmpo should have cost Milwaukee possession of the ball before it drove to the game-winning basket.

Despite a late-Monday loss to the Bucks, the Houston Rockets are off to their best start in over four years at 10-5, good for No. 4 in the Western Conference. W
