At least five cargoes of liquefied natural gas have diverted from Asia to Europe in the past few days, drawn by higher gas prices on the continent after Russia's Gazprom halted supplies to Austria's OMV,

Gazprom halted supply to Austria's OMV on Saturday over a contractual dispute, the Vienna-based company said, while Gazprom has not commented. It is not clear where the gas volumes intended for OMV have been redirected.
