Then, early Wednesday, police said a rider on the Metro bus allegedly hijacked by Lamont Campbell was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds as Campbell was arrested by SWAT officers.

Lamont Campbell, 51, of Los Angeles is being held in jail and is awaiting charges for murder, officials said at an afternoon news conference. KTLA's Mary Beth McDade reports on September 25, 2024.
