VPN by Google is currently available on Pixel 7 and newer phones, but not the Pixel Tablet. With Android 15 QPR2, Google appears to be adding support for the Pixel Tablet. Multiple reports indicate that Pixel Tablet users can now connect to VPN by Google, including on the stable Android 15 build.

When VPN by Google rolled out to older Pixel phones in June, the Pixel Tablet was excluded, though that might be changing.

It's been a little over a year since Google launched the Pixel Tablet and it's really grown on me. It's a unique device that seamlessly blends into my home thanks to its clever charging speaker dock and is a device that I pick up every day.

Having been a no-show at the recent Made by Google Fall event, there’s no firm release date for the Pixel Tablet 2. In the past, a May release to coincide with Google I/O would seem likely, but with the Pixel 9a reportedly due as soon as March, it may be in early adopters’ hands sooner than you think.

The upcoming Google Pixel Tablet 2 is rumored to receive significant upgrades that could make it a much more powerful device for both work and play. While the first Pixel Tablet was a decent device for media consumption, it lacked some of the features and accessories that would make it truly useful for productivity tasks.

After launching its first Pixel Tablet in 2023, the next tablet is coming in 2025. The rumour has it that the device will arrive with a Keyboard and stylus.

With the upcoming Android 15 QPR2 release, the VPN by Google service will likely be available for the Pixel Tablet. VPN by Google is the replacement to Google One’s VPN service and is available exclusively for free on the Pixel 7 and later.
