Tiffany Stratton pinned Bayley clean in the middle of the ring in the first defense of her WWE Women's Championship in the main event of "WWE SmackDown."

WWE let Bayley down by turning her back into a giggling mess of a character who had nothing to say. Adversity has changed that. On Friday, the company aired a nice pre-taped interview in the empty arena with Byron Saxton to hype up Bayley’s title opportunity vs.

For the first time (which is incredible), Kevin Owens battled Rey Mysterio in a singles match. These two didn't go warp speed, but they made it count. Owens and Mysterio put on a show, with Owens picking up the win with a Powerbomb after he "inadvertently" knocked the official into the ropes and sent Mysterio off the top rope.

Friday's episode of "WWE SmackDown" featured a strong, diverse slate of matches across a never-dull, three-hour show.
