The UAE has blamed the Sudanese armed forces for the attack on the home of its ambassador in Khartoum. But the military has blamed the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, which it claims is backed by the UAE.

The United Arab Emirates’ foreign ministry said a Sudanese military aircraft attacked the residence of its ambassador to Sudan, further stoking tensions between the Gulf country and authorities in the North African nation.

The UAE has strongly condemned an attack on the country’s head of mission in Sudan's capital. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the attack “heinous” and said it resulted in extensive damage to the building.
